“I had the amazing opportunity to practice Yoga with Michaela during my stay in Morocco. We completed an hour session every morning with the sunrise and every evening with the setting sun for 4 days. I enjoyed one-on-one sessions almost every time. Michaela took her time asking me about my personal goals and limits, adjusted the practice to daily performance and situational conditions. Until now, I had never experienced Yoga as a challenging and at the same time extremely energizing exercise and I was surprised how much it inspired me and strengthened my body after only a few days. Especially the flow of movements and breathing technique helped me free my mind and "create space", like we used to call it during practice. Michaela was very helpful in order to reach my personal limits without creating pain and taught me how to find my own shape instead of trying to perfectly imitate the original yoga pose. All in all I am convinced that I could not have been any luckier than being able to have Michaela as my teacher for one of my first real yoga practice at all. "During ten days this March I had the chance to participate in Michaela’s yoga classes. It was a wonderful way to start a day, listening to her calming voice, stretching and strengthening the body awake. Every morning she made a different practice based on what the students needed. She was very good at making the practice meaningful for all participants, from those for whom it was the first yoga class ever to those like me who have practiced breathing and listening to one’s body for years. The practice flowed, her instructions were so clear you didn’t need to think about them, and she very nicely corrected and helped to reach a deeper position by touching. During the relaxation in the end of the classes, she sometimes gently massaged our feet or head, and it felt great. She always reminded to respect what the body is capable of and what it isn’t, and that she is there just for giving some advice how the practice would go but encouraged own variations and pauses whenever needed. I felt very safe, calm and open on those classes. After the ten days, my body and mind had fully recovered from the days at office: stronger, more flexible, better posture, more open. “In April 2017 I had the chance to attend Michaela Ravasio's yoga class, it was a contagious and powerful experience to have her as a teacher. The class consisted of students with different levels of experience. As a teacher she managed to address every student in their individual level of experience. The class included elements from different kinds of yoga, so the daily changing needs of the students were always met. No matter if we needed relaxation and stretching of sore muscles from surfing or a more challenging and informative session. Even after class she was always open for questions and shared her profound knowledge with us.  I'm not a beginner in yoga and enjoyed her classes extremely. I can truely say my yoga skills have improved so much in terms of a more precise performance of the different Asanas and accepting my individual yoga expression at the same time. To have been in Michaela's yoga class has been an enrichment to me in terms of discovering the meaning of yoga and discovering new potentials in me.
